Intumescent Fireseals
Intumescent products expand to several times their original size when activated by high temperatures. This sealing action prevents the uncontrolled spread of flames and smoke to other parts of a building. Passive fireseals, pipe clamps, fire collars etc contain special intumescent compounds.
Intumescent fire protection products are dependently tested and certified
to specified national standards to ensure that they will operate as
claimed in the event of a fire.
